Beneficiaries of the funds are members of the Independent Trade Union who have regularly paid membership fees in the last 12 months, as well as members of their immediate families in need. The duration of assistance seeker's membership is determined by a confirmation issued by the president and treasurer of the Union in which the seeker is a member.
Besides the completed REQUEST (depending on the type of assistance), you will need the following documents to claim benefits from the Solidarity Fund:
1. Cash aid for prolonged illness:
- Forms - Report on Temporary Work Disability Continuation or Opinion from the Commission for Continuing Illness
- 2.Cash aid for treatment and medical aids:
- consultative opinion
- resignation letter
- specialist report
- Invoice/Fiscal Receipt from the country or abroad.
- 3. Cash aid for severe consequences of natural disasters:
- Official confirmation from the competent authority regarding the incurred damage.
- Proof of residence ownership – property deed.
- 4. Cash aid for the death of a Fund member
- Copy of the excerpt from the registry of deaths.
- a) Death of a member of his immediate family:
- Copy of the excerpt from the registry of deaths.
- Copy of the personal ID card.
- Copy of the birth certificate excerpt of the Beneficiary not older than six months (when the Beneficiary is a member of the immediate family).
- 5. Cash aid in case of dismissal or financial consequences due to union activities:
- Decision on termination of employment or Decision on imposing disciplinary measures.

PROCEDURE FOR EXERCISING RIGHTS
Members of the Union submit the request to use a right according to the Regulations to the Union Organization.
The President of the Union Organization, after a preliminary check of the necessary documentation, submits it to the Solidarity Fund Commission of the Independent Union of Employees in University Clinics, Centers, Clinical Hospitals, and other public health institutions in the Republic of Macedonia.
NOTE:
- The Commission will not consider:
- incomplete submitted requests
- requests submitted outside the established deadline
- requests from applicants who do not contribute to the Solidarity Fund;
requests directly submitted to the Commission
