The Independent Syndicate of Employees in University Clinics, Centers, Clinical Hospitals, and other healthcare institutions in the Republic of North Macedonia is a voluntary, independent, democratic, non-partisan organization of employees in university clinics, centers, clinical hospitals, and public healthcare institutions. This organization serves the needs of public healthcare institutions, university clinics, institutes, the Urgent Care Center in Skopje, and other public healthcare institutions in the Republic of Macedonia.
The goals and tasks of SSKC are:
1. Unification in the Syndicate of members employed in university clinics, centers, clinical hospitals, and other public health institutions in the Republic of Macedonia.
2. The Independent Union is organized on the principle of associated union organizations from the fields of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and health administration.
3. For the improvement and protection of their rights and interests guaranteed by the Constitution, laws, and collective agreements, regardless of their political, racial, religious, or national affiliation, gender, marital status, social origin, property status, or social position.
4. Participating in the negotiation and signing of collective agreements and monitoring their implementation;
5. Initiating, discussing, and providing opinions on laws and other regulations that regulate the socio-economic and social situation of the members;
6. Struggle for a free, democratic, legal, and social state and the dignity of the profession.
7. Determination of the price of labor and other working conditions, dignified for humanity.
8. Ensuring the right to work and continuous employment.
9. Organizing the members and exercising the right to strike.
10. Allocation of non-repayable material assistance to the members from the Solidarity Fund.
11. The Expert Committee for Regulations and Legal Issues at the SSKC provides legal advice and assistance to members.
12. The SSKC provides union benefits at the national level throughout Macedonia for the needs of its members.
13. Improving working conditions, occupational safety, environmental protection, as well as special care for the health and life of employees in the workplace;
14. Ensuring conditions for continuous union education and more;
15. Realizing other goals and interests of its members.
16. Informing its members as well as the public about its work;
17. Union protection of its members;
